RABINDRA JAYANTI-2023

Rabindra Jayanti is an annually celebrated cultural festival around the world in remembrance of Rabindranath Tagore’s birthday. Like every year, CDF School arranged a discussion programme and colourful cultural programme on the occasion of Tagore’s birthday on May 25. Students presented speeches regarding the life and contribution of Rabindranath Tagore. They sang Tagore’s song, performed dance with the song of Tagore as well as recited his poems. Besides these, some teachers also sang Tagore’s song and delivered speech about the contribution of Tagore to the Bangla literature. Overall, Rabindra Jayanti is an important day for the people of Bengal and is celebrated with great enthusiasm to honor the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore. We celebrate every year this day with an aim to encourage students know about Tagore and his works.
